Obituary of Helma K. Penich

Penich: Helma K., a resident of Bothwell, passed away peacefully at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance, Chatham on Sunday, August 17, 2014 at the age of 78. Born in Chatham, daughter of the late John Sr. and Katherine (Judt) Gartner. Beloved wife of Mike Penich Sr.. Loving mother of Mike Penich Jr. (Christine) of R.R.#1 Newbury, Steven Penich of Peachland B.C., Barb Dinner (Chuck) of Bothwell, Dan Penich (Grace) of London, Shelly Carson (Roy) of Powell River B.C. Helma will be sadly missed by her grandchildren Shaneka (Tim), Jesse, Jordon, Dalton, Shane (Jackie), Stephanie, Joel, Elijah, Steve, Noah, and great-grandchildren Samantha, Lexi, J'Lynn, Madison and Austin. Helma is survived by her dear Sister of MaryAn Langlois (Len) of Chatham, and dear brothers John Gartner Jr. (Doreen) of Bothwell, Peter Gartner (Randi) of Chatham. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. The Penich family will receive friends at the Badder & Robinson Funeral Home, 211 Elm St. Bothwell on Thursday from 2 - 4pm and 7-9pm. The funeral service will be held in the chapel on Friday, August 22, 2014 at 11 AM with Fr. Ray Lawhead officiating. Interment St. Ignatius Cemetery, Bothwell.
