I was working the summer for Stewart Walker and we transported a building through Thamesville & your Dad had to ensure we were safe to go through the town. He was always a very friendly & kind man!! Norma, Brad and Jeff - I am very saddened to hear of Roy's passing. I have really enjoyed visiting with you at the Village, and to get updated on the neighborhood plus reminisce about it. He lived small town life perfectly - a total commitment - workung, volunteering, participation in church work and sports.He will be greatly missed but he has left us all with great memories to cherish.

We were saddened to hear of Uncle Roy's passing. I'm so happy we stopped in to see him last fall and that he was able to be at the Bloom reunion at Mitchell's Bay last summer. The reunion just won't be the same without him. Our sincere condolences Aunt Norma, Brad, Susan, Jeff, Nancy and families.

We were so sad to hear of Roy’s passing. We had many good chats at the baseball diamond as Roy sat on his famous lawn chair. Ron will cherish the memories of Roy being his first baseball coach and winning the all Ontario Tyke championship. Roy can be assured that Ron will keep his eye on the blue jay pitchers to ensure that they use the corners of the plate. Lol. Roy will be truly missed in our community.

I knew Roy as a small child. He came to visit us - Norman Burrell's family. He was so nice to me and my sister tells me he gave me a toy sewing machine. I don't remember that but I do remember sewing clothes when I was a child. What a sweet man.
