Obituary of Ida Grace Holmes

Ida Grace Holmes, a resident of Dresden, passed away on Thursday, August 19, 2021 at the Village on the Ridge, Ridgetown at the age of 95. Born in Camden Township,  the daughter of the late Charles and Florence (Benjamin) Liberty. Beloved wife of the late Allen J. Holmes (2011). Loving mother and mother-in-law of Catherine Cofell (David), John Holmes (Diane) and the late Jim Holmes (2009). Sadly missed by her grandchildren Jessica Rowden, Sarah Rieveley (Dan), Melanie Cofell (Camilo), Heather Gabriel (Jeremy), Becky Timmermans (Brad), Sue McCaan (Glen), Rob Chevalier (Cheryl), Nicole Stratton (Brandon), Jamie Parsons (Brad), Ginni Fairburn (Grant) and 15 great grandchildren. Dear sister of June Burton (Phil). Fondly remembered by several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by brother Ben Liberty and sisters Frances Blakeley, Winnie Ross and Martha Brown. A private family service will be held at Badder Funeral Home & Reception Centre, Dresden with interment in Blackburn Cemetery.
