Obituary of David Edmin Martin

David Edmin Martin, a resident of Wabash, passed away on Wednesday, October 18, 2023 at Chatham-Kent Health Alliance at the age of 84. Born in Chatham, the son of the late Glen and Leda (Knott) Martin. Devoted husband and best friend of Connie (Blakeley) Martin for 59 years. Dave was a proud farmer. He enjoyed discussing and staying current on farming topics. He was very active in his Church and took part in community events. So much so, that he gained the non-elected title of "The Mayor of Wabash." Survived by daughter Marcia Martin-Walden (Greg) and daughter-in-law Sara (Sewell) Martin. Predeceased by son Brad (2016). Cherished "Grandpa Dave" to Josh, Meredith, Isaac, Emma and Glen. Great grandpa to Bradley and Runa. Brother to Joanne White (Allan), Donald Martin (Bonnie), Nancy Wallace (Jerry) and Kathryn Ewing (Dean). Brother-in-law to Carol Chevalier (late Richard 2019) and Ann Kirkham (Doug).
