Obituary of Pat Gehl

Gehl: Patricia "Pat" (King) formerly of Bothwell, passed away peacefully at the Chatham-Kent Hospice on Thursday, May 30, 2024 at the age of 81. Pat was reunited with the love of her life, Alvin Gehl (2021). She will be dearly missed by her children Dave (Kathy), Bob (Lisa) and Gary Gehl (Kerry). Lovingly remembered by her grandchildren Ryan, Lauren, Josh, Dawson, Nolan and their partners as well as her great grandchildren. Dear sister-in-law of Aline King. Predeceased by her brothers Orville and Michael King. She dedicated many years to teaching and shaping the lives of her students. She was a mother and grandmother to many more than just her biological family. She loved her friends and family well and was loved well in return. She was a blessing to us all and we will spend the rest of our lives upholding her wonderful traditions and sharing her love with the world. “May there be comfort in knowing someone so special will never be forgotten.” A special thank you to all the care staff and volunteers at the Chatham Kent Hospice for their compassionate support. Cremation has taken place. Pat's Family will remember her privately.
