Dave, Karen and family, We are sorry for your loss, but we know we will see your mom again in heaven. The thought that came to mind, when we heard the news, was the word “faithful”. The Bible tells us that it is required of a steward, that they be found faithful. That is what you mom was, a faithful servant of the Most High God. Karen Dave and family. I am so very sorry for your loss. I have such wonderful memories of your Mom She truly was one of the sweetest and kindest ladies I’ve ever met. She always looks so beautiful. I remember when your Dad would always bring the turtle box in and I always said oh I thought it was full of turtles! Or no candy today? One Christmas they both came in and guess what was in the turtle box. We all laughed so hard. I’m sure you have many wonderful memories of a wonderful Mother that was so well loved by so many. Karen, Dave and family….your mom was such a special lady to so many folks….my first memory is my Sunday School teacher…such a kind and loving lady.. We would always see her walking to the Baptist Church each day, up until she moved to Fairfield Park, and everyone was a.ways greeted with a smile….so sorry for your loss! Rob and Dianne

I have such fond memories of Ev. She was a tremendous influence on so many. She led the church choir, she was custodian for the church for many years, she was the daughter of Mrs. (Gramma) Stanley who was without a doubt, one of the finest human beings I have ever known. And Ev emulated her mother in how she quietly helped and guided anyone in need of a kind word or a welcoming smile and so much more. For me, it was an honour to have known her. My condolences to Karen and family.

Evelyn was such a lovely lady and so happy you mentioned Laura McKaig. Can picture the two of them together and definitely prayer warriors. I smile when I think of your Mom Karen, you are a lot like your Mom, kind and gentleness. Fruits of the spirit.
