Evelyn Jean Stanley Harrett

June2, 1923 - June 30, 2024

Evelyn was called home on Sunday, (her favourite day of the week) June 30, 2024 at the age of 101. Daughter of the Late Victor and Jean (Dunlop) Stanley. predeceased by her Late husband Bill Harrett (1991), brothers Bob, Ed, Jim, and sisters Isobel McGugan, Hazel Disney, Anna Bushey, and prayer partner Laura McKaig. 

She is survived by her daughter Karen Lindsay (David), her beloved grandchildren,  granddaughter Lisa Nichols (dear friend Bill), and grandson Derek Lindsay (Cindy); great-grandson Matt Nichols (Kim), Liam and Aiden Lindsay; great-great-grandsons Reid and Camden Nichols and her sister Maisie Deline (Max); and many "devoted" nieces and nephews on both sides of the family, Also fondly remembered by special friends Anne Chapman and the Nichols Family. 

She was an active member of the North Dresden Baptist Church, for many years. She enjoyed her time with the Christian Women's Club, volunteering for the Cancer Society for 45 years and making quilts for family and friends. 

Family and friends will be received at the Badder Funeral Home & Reception Centre, 679 North St., Dresden on Wednesday, July 3, 2024 from 12:30 PM until the time of the funeral service at 1:30 PM.  Interment Dresden Cemetery.
